In our first set, songs from 1967 and 1968 featuring: Johnny Melody & The Slickers (aka The Pioneers), Desmond Dekker & The Aces, The Uniques with Bobby Aitken & The Caribbeat, Prince Buster & Teddy King, Cannon & The Soul Vendors, and a song that was first recorded in 1904; the "Carmen Carmelita" riddim, later known as "Tulips and Heather" was versioned in 1967 by Oliver St. Patrick and The Diamonds with Tommy McCook & The Supersonics.
