99.7 The Legend Weather Alert from the National Weather Service and Meteorologist Don Wheeler

The National Weather Service (SHV) has issued a/an Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Caldwell, Grant, La Salle & Winn Parish from 6:37 PM Tuesday until 7:15 PM Tuesday.

At 637 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles southwest of Olla, or 21 miles east of Winnfield, moving southeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 Mph Wind Gusts And Quarter Size Hail.

IMPACT...Hail Damage To Vehicles Is Expected. Expect Wind Damage To Roofs, Siding, And Trees.

The National Weather Service (SHV) has issued a/an Flash Flood Warning for Grant & La Salle Parish from 1:50 AM Sunday until 4:45 AM Sunday.

At 150 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
