What’s new at Heartbeat of Monroe? We stopped by to catch up with Executive Director Margaret Horvath as they celebrate an exciting new chapter in their longtime commitment to supporting local families.

After serving Monroe County and the surrounding area for more than 50 years, Heartbeat of Monroe is continuing its mission from its location at 1120 W. Front Street. The nonprofit provides free and confidential support to those who are pregnant or parenting, including ultrasounds, parenting and educational classes, and assistance with baby and toddler essentials as available.

They also have a busy September ahead with the Joy of Life Banquet on September 10 and Golf “Fore” Heartbeat on September 11.

Take a look at what’s been happening, what’s ahead, and the impact Heartbeat of Monroe continues to make in our community.

🚨❤️ The Monroe Community Heartsavers are back with another AED drop-off!

This time, the Heartsavers stopped by Sterling State Park to present two life-saving AEDs to park officers, made possible through a generous sponsorship from the Frenchtown Firefighters Association.

We caught up with Park Officer Angel to hear what this donation means for the park, its staff, and the thousands of visitors who enjoy Sterling State Park throughout the year.

❤️ Another great example of our community coming together to help keep others safe! 🚑
