At 617 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 10 miles southwest of Bernice to over McNeil, or along a line from 13 miles north of Grambling to over McNeil, moving southwest at 10 mph.

Love sports? Interested in radio and live broadcasting? The Radio People are looking for dependable, detail-oriented people to join our team as part-time Board Operators for live sports broadcasts.

Board Operators play an important behind-the-scenes role in making sure our games sound great on the air. Responsibilities include:

🏈 Managing audio during live sports broadcasts
🎙️ Keeping broadcast levels and audio quality on track
📻 Playing commercials and other scheduled elements during games
📞 Calling reporters, coaches, and other contributors for interviews and score updates when needed
✅ Helping keep each live broadcast running smoothly from start to finish

No previous radio experience is required — The Radio People will provide training.

This is a great part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys sports, is comfortable with computers and technology, can stay focused during a live broadcast, and wants to learn how radio works behind the scenes.

Most shifts will involve evening and weekend sports broadcasts, so schedule flexibility is important.
