Today we presented our first live performance in Hodgson Concert Hall since March 7! The wonderful Peachtree String Quartet played an all-Beethoven program. David Fung read the program notes. This performance was live-streamed as part of our online virtual programming this fall, Studio HH. You can still purchase a ticket and watch it now through Tuesday at 3 PM.
Honored to have been an integral part of this historic event - first live music in the Performing Arts Center since March.

This past Saturday, we were involved with something that is very dear to us. Every year, we donate our time and talents to Project Safe - a domestic violence rescue non-profit. One of the events is Dancing With The Athens Stars. This year, over $132,000 was raised through this single event. Santa was good to our little production company this year. Got a 300mm f2.8 lens. Ready to shoot some football next year - but, I’m sure we will find lots of uses for it in the interim.

Anyway, had a great night tonight shooting photo and video for Groovy Nights - a lip sync competition benefitting Project Safe Inc. Saturday evening was a very productive fundraising event for Project Safe Inc....Dancing With the Athens Stars 2018 saw teams take to the stage to compete and raise money for the activities of Project Safe. Just so you know, 90 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to the activities of helping victims of domestic violence. Plus, 100% of every dollar raised stays in the community. We were honored to shoot the photos for the recent Athens Pregnancy Center's Together for Life fundraiser banquet. The evening was a huge success, the speaker was fantastic, and the food was wonderful.

Pulled out all the stops...two live cameras on IMAG, three cameras on record, and a live distribution feed of the event from the theatre to the Athens Ballroom at The Classic Center. I love new technology - especially when it works.
