One of the best parts about this shoot was the people who came out to be in it. They were so full of joy and laughter and game to act in a space they never had before. Props to all the JMC students who showed up and gave us great talent to work with 👏🏻

Just a quick lighting and camera setup for the b-roll here. Working to be light and nimble to: 1. Get the best coverage possible and 2. Avoid as much attention as possible. Filming small events like these can be tricky but usually allow for some wonderful moments.

We left with full hearts this week. So many incredible men and women shared their stories at the Sheperd’s Door (women and children’s recovery facility) and the Harbor (men’s recovery facility) and we’re grateful and honored to capture them. Go give them a follow and keep a watch out for their stories coming over the next year!

We’re out here at the this week with .agency 🥳📸 and filming interviews/B-Roll and shooting photos for this awesome mission!

Today we were at the Burnside Shelter, their crisis center for people experiencing homelessness in the heart of Portland, and Drive Away Hunger, their car lot where they fix up donated cars, give them a new life, and resell them to those in need. Really amazing work they’re doing here and looking forward to tomorrow’s shoot here!

Also shoutout to Jacob Parris for setting us up for success here!

Josh studied theology during his time at , so it felt fitting to film him in the Stamps Theological Library. The background provided an interesting challenge with the large glass windows, but gave a lot of depth that’s reflected in who Josh is as a designer and human.
