This man is not just “some drummer from Kentucky”, he’s one of greatest drummers of his era. Just search out some Black Crowes bootlegs and it is undeniable. As @steve_gorman_ mentions in the episode, the greatest drummers were all about feel… and the best bands were all about chemistry. “Chemistry is everything!” “In those years... the 6 members of The Black Crowes changed the dynamic of rooms we entered. There was no way around it." I’m immensely proud of this episode of @dadrockspod and the work of the podfathers Josh and @joedeangelus to culminate the birthday of the show. The Yurt had a lot to live up to. The prior trip there years ago was just so inspiring and a perfect mind cleanse I sorely needed in 2015. This trip proved similar! There’s nothing better than waking up to a family of deer or wild turkeys on your front lawn, with that view! Truly a treat for the mind and soul.
