Excited to share another commercial airing this week, featuring NFL players filmed right here on campus! Production turned our Studio B apartment set into an apartment fit to host a podcast. Check out some BTS snaps of the commercial set - which was fitted with their furniture and compare it to our normal Studio B set up for our classes and productions (fourth slide)!

Special thanks again to current student freelancer Sean Thrunk and MSU alum freelancer Johan Alzate for assisting BMO in overseeing the production.

Have you caught any football games on Amazon Prime lately? You might’ve seen the latest Uber Eats commercial featuring NFL players—filmed right here on campus! Fun behind-the-scenes tidbit: Jerry Rice was actually green-screened into the set during post-production.

A huge shoutout to current BMO student freelancer Sean Thrunk and MSU alumni freelancer Johan Alzate for helping BMO oversee the shoot.

Montclair State University School of Communication & Media Practicum students from the FMTV program—Jada Adams, Elisabeth Hull, Zack Kovacs, Jude Ndubisi Okonne, Daniel Ortiz, Margot Pultar, Riley Roman, and Diego Caamano—were there to assist throughout the day.

State University Broadcast and Media Operations hosted the First Annual Media Operations Summit and Techspo (M.O.S.T.) on October 23rd. 📸🎥🎬

Designed for high school and college students, faculty and staff, attendees were able to explore new tools and cutting edge technology for content creators. Many manufacturers and organizations participated, including Sony Electronics LiveU Comrex Corporation Blackmagic Design Clear-Com Shure ETC MyCaseBuilder Zaxcom Videndum WMSC 90.3 FM and Montclair State University School of Communication & Media.

Over 150 students were in attendance throughout the day.

Keynote speaker Jon Crowley, Executive Director of the NJ Motion Picture & Television Commission offered career advice to students and also noted that NJ currently has 12 major productions shooting in the state and is consistently among the top three states with the most production activity, behind only California and New York.
Associate Director David Schoner was also in attendance, chatting with students and giving advice.

Due to the overwhelmingly positive response, we have already begun planning for M.O.S.T. 2025! Stay tuned!✌️❤️🎥
