Join WMSC member Taylor Lancenese and the team as they tour the Audacy radio stations with 1010WINS Executive Producer Ray Martel. We met on-air personalities and program directors from 1010WINS, WFAN, and more. Big thanks to Audacy and CCOM Professor Tim Scheld for making this trip possible!

WMSC students got to do something pretty cool recently - we teamed up with the Montclair Art Museum by producing and live broadcastubg a live music from their galleries.

The museum launched a new mini-concert series called “Art is Live!” for their members, and they brought us in along with students from Montclair State University’s Recording Arts & Production program to produce and live broadcast the perfomnce. WMSC students handled the radio side while recording arts students captured the audio.

The artist that performed at the first Art is Live! was Brooklyn-based band Foley and they brought amazing energy to the space. Check out the video of their set!

Shoutout to everyone at MAM with a special thanks to Alex Pavljuk (Montclai Class of 2024) for facilitating this collaborative opportunity and John J Cali School of Music Montclair State University’s Recording Arts students and faculty for working with us on this.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Special thanks to professors Anabella Poland, David Sanders and Rod Sheppard for their leadership and guidance.

And last but not least, to the band, Foley for making the first of what we hope will be many, a success!
