Following Convocation, there will be a special lunch at Anna Irvin Dining Hall in honor of our seniors. Lunch is free for members of the senior class who present the ticket they receive at Convocation. Faculty, staff, guests, family members and all other participants are invited to dine for $5 (credit cards only) or a swipe. 💜💛

Meet Dr. Bruce Finklea, professor and coordinator of the Mass Communication Program, award-winning educator, Star Trek fan and proud . This fall marks his 15th year on faculty, but his Montevallo journey started long before that. From attending a Young Authors Conference at UM as a kid to publishing a nationally recognized textbook, Finklea proves that passion and perseverance go a long way when you're doing what you love. 📖🖖
