Earlier I was outside picking zinnia, marigold and cosmos seeds. I finally came inside to get some water because it is STILL hot and humid here in good ol’ Alabama! 🥵

I sat down, minding my own business, when suddenly I felt something DROP ON MY ARM! 😳

I looked down and saw something BLACK.

Y’all… I about came OUT OF THAT CHAIR! 😂😂😂

Spider?! Bug?! Some kind of creature that followed me in from the flower field?! 🕷️😱

Nope.

It was a dried-up black LEAF. 🍂

A leaf.

I was nearly taken out by a dead leaf. 🤦‍♀️😂

Flower farming is not for the faint of heart, apparently. 🌸😂

Please tell me I’m not the only one who has nearly injured themselves over something completely harmless! 😂

🌻 Wednesday Quick Tip! 🌻

September is a great month to slow down and enjoy the change of seasons — even if Alabama hasn’t gotten the memo that fall is coming yet! 😂☀️🍂

My quick tip today: Make yourself a September bucket list!

It doesn’t have to be anything fancy — visit a pumpkin patch, bake something yummy, collect seeds, decorate for fall, take an evening walk, or just sit outside and enjoy a cooler evening. 🎃🍁

I made mine… and of course Luke & Leila had to be included! 🐾😂
