Did a coverage test tonight going Route 15 to Tioga County up to the Welcome to PA visitor center which is a couple miles south of the NY state line. I was able to get in still at the visitor center and a most areas up to there. I heard it really well all the way up but did have a weak spot just before Blossburg. 6 meter did well as well but the transmitter is having an issue on 6 but would have to guess it would normally work as well as 10 did.

Thanks to K4MTP for making this all happen today. Also thanks for the additional help with everything we did today to N3AEI and Jeff Caravan who don't have his ham license yet but does have his GMRS and has a repeater down toward Pottsville. What you see is antenna realignments and a voting system for 10 meters. One voting Rx is on the Sirio Sd27 facing north and the 2nd receiver is the DB-212 facing west just under the 443.050 station master. The 6 m modded Sirio Sd27 is facing Northeast. Things seem to be hearing well in early tests. Give it a try! 53 050 is having an issue on transmit but that should be taken care of as soon as I can make it up there.

If anyone uses tone squelch for 29.660, you will have to turn it off or use 131.8 for now in order to hear the repeater. 173.8 is still needed to get into the repeater. When 29.660 transmits, it is putting a carrier on the 444.900 receive radio that 53.050 uses for the split site link which has been coming through and only heard on 53.050 since both tones were 173.8. It appears 444.900 is around the 15th harmonic 29.660. We may end up putting 53.050 as an Allstarlink node like 29.660 is and that will take care of it and also free up a UHF radio. If we do this, we will be able to put the tone on transmit back to 173.8. I just need a cable made up for the Kenwood TK-6110 to DB9 and to add the info for the 2nd node on the Hamvoip image, which is pretty simple. Update: I stopped up and bypassed the amp for now so 29.660 is back online doing about 30 watts.

We are having some interference issues to the internet from the 29.660 transmitter, so I have it disabled for now. It should be able to return within the next couple of weeks or sooner, I will post again when there is an update.

Was up to 53.050 and 29.660 and saw a snake at both, the one I think was a ribbon snake if you zoom in. The other was a black snake but I don't think I got the picture of him as he was around the weeds and metal when I took the picture. He was sneaking up on us near the door but tapped the broom around and he moved away.

Listen out for 29.660 as we put a Milcom International amp on. The amp does 140 watts with 30 watts in. The radio itself is a 70 watt radio but we have only run it at 25 watts with it being used as a repeater. The antenna is about 40.ft on the north side of the tower as it has been but it has not been real strong but it is much better now.

Haven't heard anyone on the Williamsport 29.660 since the spring time. I have had the CTCSS tone on, but it does announce it at the top and bottom of the hour. Yesterday afternoon NZ9N from Las Vegas was on mid-afternoon (Eastern) when I later listened to the audio archives. He made several calls, but no one must have been around to come back to him.
