Fifty years of marriage called for an adventure worthy of the milestone!

Wynlakes residents Steve and Joan Adams celebrated their golden anniversary by traveling to one of the most remote inhabited places on Earth - Easter Island. Their journey began in Chile, then took them to Rapa Nui, where they explored volcanic landscapes, ancient ceremonial sites, and the island's legendary Moai.

From standing among the towering statues of Ahu Tongariki to watching the sun set over the Pacific, Steve and Joan experienced a destination unlike anywhere they had traveled before.

What an incredible way to celebrate 50 years together - and add another unforgettable chapter to a lifetime of adventures!

Meet this month's Young Achiever, Mary Clark Norris!

A freshman at Trinity Presbyterian School, Mary Clark stays busy both on and off the field as a member of the junior varsity basketball and varsity soccer teams. In the classroom, she loves art and proudly considers herself a "math nerd," with dreams of one day attending Auburn University and possibly pursuing a career as an anesthesiologist.

When she's not studying or competing, you'll find Mary Clark baking her famous brownies, fishing, traveling with family, or spending time with friends.

With her determination, kindness, and enthusiasm, this Wynlakes young achiever has a bright future ahead!

Meet Bella and KeKe, two beloved Shih Tzus who keep the Golson family smiling - and occasionally keep their Wynlakes neighbors on their toes!

KeKe is the playful one who would happily chase a ball all day, while Bella prefers chasing squirrels, exploring the neighborhood, and finding a comfortable lap for a nap. Together, these best friends enjoy golf cart rides, walks in the park, car rides, treats, and plenty of attention from their favorite neighborhood kids.

From everyday cuddles to the occasional unscheduled adventure, Bella and KeKe prove once again that some of the best members of the family have four paws.

Denim, diamonds, and plenty of fun!

The Wynlakes Women's Club wrapped up another wonderful year with its annual Spring Fling, this time celebrating in sparkling "Denim & Diamonds" style. Members, spouses, and guests dressed up their denim with plenty of bling for an evening filled with music, dancing, karaoke, and friendship.

From dazzling decorations and a fun photo booth to a lively dance floor, the evening was the perfect way to celebrate another year of activities, accomplishments, and connections.

What happens in Vegas sometimes deserves another celebration back home!

After Miranda and Brandon Mullins tied the knot at Las Vegas' iconic Little White Chapel, the newlyweds continued the celebration back home. Miranda's mother, Wynlakes resident Levis Rushton, hosted a special reception at her home, bringing family and friends together to celebrate the happy couple and their new life together.

From their Las Vegas elopement to celebrating with loved ones in Wynlakes, Miranda and Brandon's story marks the beginning of many adventures and memories still to come.

Congratulations to the newlyweds! Wishing you a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and happiness.

Meet the McCall family! Since making Wynlakes home in 2021, Shaun, Ty, and their nine-year-old son, William, have embraced everything they love about neighborhood life - friendships, community traditions, and plenty of opportunities to make memories together.

From Shaun's service as an Air Force veteran and Ty's passion for education and community involvement to William's busy schedule of soccer, chess, swimming, and more, the McCalls are a family on the go. But some of their favorite moments are the simplest ones: movie nights, Sunday brunches, and stargazing together in their backyard.

For the McCalls, Wynlakes isn't simply where they live. It's home!

What an incredible summer it was at WynCamp!

Campers wrapped up another unforgettable season filled with golf, tennis, pickleball, swimming, hands-on learning, and plenty of new friendships. From meeting the Montgomery County Sheriff's K-9 Unit to learning about fishing, the outdoors, and growing tomatoes, every week brought new adventures and lasting memories.

A heartfelt thank you to the Wynlakes staff, community partners, and families who made WynCamp such a success. Campers left with great memories, new skills, and friendships that will last well beyond the summer!
