Meet Knox Wingate, a Montgomery Academy (MA) student who stands out—not only for his academic commitment but also for his fierce dedication to sports. As a player for MA's varsity football team, he is known for his smart plays and excellent leadership abilities. He also excels at track and field. He won sectionals in pole vault, which advanced him to the state finals, where he soared to a silver medal finish in a field of 21 top-tier athletes! He has been a member of the school’s speech and debate team, which finished as the runner-up in the 2025 state debate tournament. With achievements spanning athletics, academics, and public speaking, Knox Wingate embodies the very spirit of a “Young Achiever.” He is a leader, a competitor, and a role model, making Montgomery Academy, his family, and his community extremely proud! Way to go, Knox!

When Jerry and Sue Spencer moved to Wynlakes in December of 2021, they knew they were settling into a beautiful neighborhood, but they didn't expect to find what they now call "the best neighborhood ever." With a rich family history and a genuine love for people and place, the Spencers are the kind of neighbors who help make Wynlakes feel like home.

Of course, no story about the Spencers would be complete without mentioning their "special child," a toy Chinese shar-pei named “Carter,” better known as “Top Dog.” At nine years of age, Carter runs the Spencer household with a firm paw, spending her days keeping a watchful eye on the golfers and chasing, or rather terrorizing, her arch-nemeses, the squirrels!
