Back in 2016, at the tender age of 15, I embarked on a life-changing journey to Uganda. Little did I know that this trip would imprint itself on my heart forever and ignite a burning desire to return.
During my time in Uganda, I was deeply moved by the resilience, warmth, and faith of the people I encountered. Their stories, their struggles, and their unwavering spirit left an indelible mark on me. Since then, I've carried Uganda in my heart, yearning to return and document the incredible work being done by our church community there.
Now, I stand on the cusp of making that dream a reality. Alongside a team of missionaries from my church, I am planning to journey back to Uganda from July 20th to August 3rd. Our mission is to minister to the people of Uganda and create a powerful documentary that sheds light on the lives of Ugandans, the impact of our church's support, and the extraordinary work of Christ unfolding in this beautiful country.
The heart of the documentary will be the voices of the Ugandan people themselves. Through interviews with community leaders and everyday locals, we aim to paint a vivid picture of life in Uganda—its joys, its struggles, and its hopes for the future. We will showcase the tangible impact of donations, revealing how they are transforming lives and drawing individuals closer to the love of the Lord.
