MCDPS CAD MESSAGE: The Wissahickon Fire Co. is saddened to announce the passing of current Deputy Chief Jonathan Deck. Jonathan was 35 & survivied by his wife & 2 preschool boys. Visitation will be held on Fri. Oct. 17th from 4PM to 8PM at Urban Funeral Home, Bethlehem Pike, Ambler. Visiatation on Sat. Oct 18th from 9AM to 10:30AM at Upper Dublin Lutheran Church, Susquehanna RD, Ambler. Services at 10:30AM, Burial will be at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Horsham. Please avoid the area of DeKalb Pike and Skippack Pike intersection due to a vehicle accident. Dekalb Pike is closed temporarily at the intersection on the north bound side. Updates to follow.

PUBLIC ADVISORY: As part of the US Navy and Marine Corps 250th anniversary celebration, military aircraft will be performing ceremonial flyovers at low altitude in our area this weekend (Saturday 10/11, Sunday 10/12, and Monday 10/13). Current plans call for multiple rounds of flyovers each day: late morning, midday, and early afternoon.

Aircraft will likely be visible in central, eastern, and southern Montgomery County, as well as across the region. Please do not call 9-1-1 to report these flyovers.
