BIG ANNOUNCEMENT from THE SLICE RESTAURANT!

Saturday, December 20th, 8:30 to 11pm

In response to the tragic fire affecting our neighboring town of Patten, we have made the decision to turn this Saturday's karaoke event into a fundraiser to assist in the aid of those affected by the loss.

We, too, have experienced the heartache of a fire in recent years and are all too familiar with the related challenges.

There will be a door charge of $5 as well as any and all donations.
We will have a trailer available for anyone who wishes to drop off items anytime on Saturday.

Let's see how much we can raise for these families in need at Christmas! Thank you!

SAD NEWS in Patten as fire claimed the Outback Garage and Hathaway Apartments. All are safe.

The fire is out, but power is still off in the area, so Ellis Family Market, Richardsons, Katahdin Trust, and others have delayed opening this morning as the Town continues its cleanup efforts.

UPDATE: They are accepting donations of household items, personal care items, and clothing for 12 women and one gentleman. For donations, please contact Raye Porter at 207-416-5282 to coordinate a drop off at the Methodist Church at 7 Houlton Street.
