We’re honored that both of Iowa gubernatorial primary winners chose Rush Hour Ag as a platform to share their vision and policy priorities with Iowa’s agricultural community.

Congratulations to Zach Lahn for Governor and Rob Sand for Iowa on their primary victories. Both candidates have told us they’d be happy to return to the show and answer questions directly from Iowa farmers and rural residents.

Now we want to hear from YOU. What questions would you like us to ask the candidates? Drop them in the comments below.

We’re excited to follow this race and see how each campaign plans to earn the trust and support of Iowa farmers throughout this election season.

Elliott shares with Adam Steen what he’s hearing from teachers across Iowa...frustration over watching administrators continue to get paid more while classrooms are left behind.

Adam says he’s spoken with former teachers who became so fed up with the system that they walked away entirely. From endless rules and bureaucracy to money being spent on unnecessary layers above the classroom, they say it’s becoming harder and harder to actually teach kids.

The conversation then shifts to school choice, parental involvement, and whether competition could help fix a system many believe is losing focus on students and teachers alike.

Rob Sand for Iowa says farmers already understand that conservation and water quality matter; the real problem is politicians standing in the way.

He shares why real progress starts with respecting farmers as part of the solution, not treating them like the enemy.

Zach Lahn joins Rush Hour Ag for one of the most fired-up conversations yet, tackling the issues he believes are reshaping the future of Iowa. From farmers getting squeezed by the system, to outside investors buying up Iowa land, to the growing influence of Big Ag and Big Pharma, Zach doesn’t hold back.

Louie and Elliott sit down with Zach to discuss his four core priorities:

🌽 Free Iowa’s Farmers
🏥 Make Iowa Healthy Again
🌎 Keep Iowa Land in Iowa Hands
📚 Restore Our Education System

Are Iowa farmers truly being left behind? Should foreign ownership of farmland be banned? And who’s really benefiting from the current ag system?
