So, most of my buds know that for the last year and a half or so, I have been spending most of my time out with The Grift. This Friday, the band is back in Burlington, playing at Nectars for the first time in, I think, more than five years. Please, come, hang out. If you haven't seen the band in a while, I promise you're in for a treat. The band is new and improved, now with more Josh Panda. And they have at their fingertips all of their collective material... plus hundreds of covers. It's a real show. I will be mixing from the floor, so I will actually get to say hi to some people. I'm looking forward to seeing you.

(My favorite question that I get asked these days is, "What kind of stuff does the band do?" My answer is generally, "yes.")

Just finished a really fun recording session with the Neon Ramblers, the Grift's pop song playing Bluegrass alter ego. As the bluegrass song goes, Ain't nothing but a good time....

My thanks go out to Clint, Peter, Josh, Jeff, and Matt for making my day more musical.

Had a great time yesterday with Ordinary Elephant. Pete and Crystal Daymore are just great to work with, and a wonderful stage presence. I don't do a lot of shows completely bluegrass/one mic style, especially not indoors. But these guys' professionalism made it a pleasure.
