What a response to Montpelier Alive's request for volunteers to help with clean up! At this moment, over 500 people have signed up. You have made it clear to this community that we are in this together.

We know we are all eager to get started helping our friends and neighbors recover from this devastating event. While the water is receding from town, there are still serious safety considerations that warrant caution.
We are communicating with the City of Montpelier about how and when volunteer-aided recovery can begin. We ask for your patience. This is going to be a marathon, and we don't want to see people get hurt or sick because of moving too quickly.
By tomorrow morning, we should have additional information to share about timing and other details which we will convey via our page.
So grateful for all your support for our City!
