🌈 DANCE. SHINE. CELEBRATE.
Why we dance?
On June 19, 1865, the last enslaved Black people in the U.S. finally heard the words “You are free.” That moment—two years after the Emancipation Proclamation—marks the spirit of Juneteenth, a celebration of Black freedom, delayed justice, radical resilience, and enduring joy. It’s a day that honors not just the end of slavery, but the fight for liberation that continues today.
And that fight is deeply intertwined with Pride.
From the frontlines of Stonewall to the roots of house music in Black and Brown q***r clubs, our communities have always turned to dancing as a form of resistance and remembrance. Q***r and BIPOC folks have made dance floors into spaces of liberation—where bodies are free, identities are affirmed, and joy becomes a revolutionary act.
This party is more than a celebration. It’s a tribute.
To those who never stopped fighting. To those who found freedom in rhythm. To those who know that liberation isn’t just survival—it’s pleasure, it’s community, it’s movement.
So we move.
We honor Juneteenth. We honor Pride.
We honor Black q***r joy as both memory and future.
Come dance in your truth. Come dance in freedom.
