Montrose Wine Walk returns with live music, shopping & wine

Get ready for an afternoon of delicious drinks, food, shopping and live music! This year's Montrose Wine Walk is back and better than ever. Stroll through historic downtown Montrose and sample a variety of wines, craft beers, and tasty bites from local vendors. Don't forget to treat your mom for Mother's Day at one of our local shops or restaurants and enjoy the beautiful scenery and entertainment.

The annual wine walk is a wine festival spread throughout the beautiful town of Montrose. Instead of having an all-enclosed event, we will continue to take advantage of the spaces in town and feature vendors, wineries, and musicians.

This year’s Wine Walk will be Saturday, May 13, 2023 rain or shine, from 1 pm-5 pm. Those with general admission tickets will get a tasting glass and a wristband. VIP guests will enjoy an advance entrance from 11 am-1 pm, and an insulated wine tumbler.

You can buy your general admission and VIP tickets at montrosewinewalk.com. General admission tickets are $25. VIP tickets are $40. There is a service fee added to online ticket sales.

Advance tickets are also available at all NBT locations in Susquehanna County; My Cuppa Coffee, 158 Church St., Montrose; and Andre & Son True Value, SR 706, Montrose.

There will be ample parking in the downtown area, and an ID will be required to receive a wristband and glass.

Tickets will also be available at the gate, located on Public Ave., for $30.

All proceeds from the event will benefit United Way of Susquehanna County.

Music

Upstate New York’s Sydney Irving, a Grace Musicians Group Artist, is an up-and-coming rock artist with a pop appeal. Just a few of her accolades include Best New Artist at the Syracuse Area Music Awards, ISSA Young Adult Artist of The Year, and the Music Mafia Radio Female Artist Of The Year. She is also nominated for a 2023 Mississippi Music Award and at the 2023 ISSA awards in 6 categories. Breedlove Guitar endorsed artist, Sydney Irving has had the privilege to open for artists like Martina McBride, Kameron Marlowe, and Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas. Recently, she released her fifth album “Relax With Fiends”, followed up by multiple singles including her newest “You Can’t Forget About Me” as well as her summer-inspired song, “Seasons Change,” which both earned her a number one spot on the Music Mafia Radio Top 30 Countdown. Irving is currently working on new music and is set to play around 125 shows for 2023.

Bryon Rood is a singer/songwriter from the Montrose area. He plays original music but likes to add some groove to well-known covers. After Bryon recorded an album at the world’s largest residential recording facility (Sonic Ranch, Tornillo, Texas), he decided he wanted to learn how to build guitars. He now owns and operates Rood Guitars and makes high-end instruments in his shop right outside of Montrose.
