There are 3 types of video content we make a lot of (because they just WORK):
- Brand Video: a cohesive brand story video that tells interested parties everything they need to know about you. Great for web.
- Testimonial: Social proof from a client/customer in video form. Great for web, social, and ads (can be tricky to get buy-in from your interviewee)
- Short form content: More an approach to content, but a great way to consistently post for organic reach (if it blows up: make it an ad). You can recycle content from bigger video campaigns, podcasts, OR record directly for this format. Just be sure to have a content system so you don't burn out.

We can all tell when you outsourced your entire marketing campaign to AI.

At least, I can. And while I use it to assist in some parts of my work, I know that my biggest strength is my humanity.

The weird, sporadic, random, emotional part of us is often what sparks creativity and creates success. An AI model can mimic that, but it can't replace it.

And who would want it to? People want to connect with PEOPLE.

I believe a counter-movement of relational content and brand-building is going to surge in the next few years, and AI fatigue is already starting...

So what this means is the work hasn't really changed. We can't "shortcut" our marketing to infinity because of a $25/mo Chat GPT subscription.

Everyone is rushing to be the next AI millionaire.

It's too good to be true. Spending a few hundred to pump out faceless content and "fully automate" your marketing with the hopes of millions in ROI?

No way.

While some people have definitely done this... I don't expect it to be a viable long-term strategy. Or a fulfilling strategy at that...

For me, AI can be a great tool and assistant to the work, but never a replacement.

Ethical considerations aside, just from a performance standpoint, I guarantee AI fatigue will hit hard. Those who use it responsibly will be fine. Those who depend on it entirely will sink.

We streamed the CPRA finals this year and it was bigger than ever 🔥

Over 13,000 engaged views. 22 days of total watch times. And an average of 90 people watching at any given time.

This boosted sponsorship impact significantly.

And besides being covered in dirt, we didn’t break as much stuff as last time. And our team didn’t get run over (we had some close calls though 👀)
