Most women never say these things out loud.

Not because they aren’t happening.

Because they’re embarrassed they’re happening at all.

I know I was.

When your work stops looking like your work, it messes with more than your performance.

It messes with your confidence.

It messes with your identity.

It makes you wonder what happened to the woman who used to catch everything before anyone else did.

If any of these slides felt a little too familiar, DM me REAL.

Because I have a feeling the woman you’re missing is still in there somewhere. ❤️

You sit there clapping with a smile on your face and a piece of congratulations cake sitting in front of you while the promotion goes to someone you trained to do the job.

And honestly?

A part of you is happy for them.

You don’t hate your coworker.

You don’t think they’re a bad person.

You’re more pi**ed at the situation and your own brain than anything.

Because this promotion was supposed to be yours.

You busted your ass for it.

You got the certifications.

You took on the extra projects.

You stayed late.

You did all the things people tell you to do when you want to move up.

And this wasn’t just about a title.

This was supposed to be the extra money.

The breathing room.

The trip you’ve been putting off.

Maybe finally not stressing every time a bill hits.

But deep down you’ve known for a while now that your work hasn’t looked like your work.

Things take longer.

You reread everything three times.

You keep catching mistakes after the fact.

You stopped raising your hand for things because you’re terrified somebody is going to notice you’re not firing on all cylinders anymore.

So you made yourself smaller.

A little at first.

Then a little more.

Then a little more.

And now you’re sitting there watching somebody else get the thing you’ve been working toward for years.

And that is one hell of a mindf*ck.

If this hit home, save it.

Because this doesn’t have to be where the story ends.

You know that gut punch feeling after a meeting where you realize you forgot the most important point you meant to make?

And then halfway home you remember exactly how you should have said it.

And the first words out of your mouth would make a sailor blush if they heard them. 🤬

So now you’re sitting at a red light having an imaginary conversation with people who aren’t even there anymore.

Probably getting weird looks from the cars around you.

Replaying the meeting.

Fixing the answer.

Trying to convince yourself it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Then tomorrow you walk into work and act completely normal.

Like you weren’t lying in bed at 2 a.m. thinking about a meeting that lasted 30 minutes.

The sh*tty part?

Most women I talk to think this is just what happens when you get older.

Or when you’re busy.

Or when life gets stressful.

A year ago, I thought the same thing too.

Let me know below if this has ever happened to you 👇

You never used to worry about one missed detail.

Because honestly?

You were really damn good at what you did.

If something slipped through, you caught it.

If there was a problem, you figured it out.

Most of the time there was not even a problem to begin with because you were that on top of things.

Now every report, presentation, and email feels like it has more holes than a slice of Swiss cheese.

And every time you hit send, you are bracing for someone to find something you missed.

That is the part that gets scary.

Not the missed detail.

The fact that missing details used to NEVER be your thing.

Now you are watching projects go to people with less experience.

Watching opportunities pass you by.

Watching promotions and raises you worked your ass off for land somewhere else.

And you are sitting there wondering what the hell happened because you know what you are capable of.

❤️ If this felt a little too familiar, save this.

You are not imagining the difference.

And you are not the only woman wondering what happened to the version of herself that used to handle all of this without thinking twice.

There is a reason this is happening.

And it is exactly why I built Reclaim.
