⚠️HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK⚠️

Scattered to Numerous Showers and Thunderstorms expected again this afternoon through this evening. An isolated severe storm or two cannot be ruled out, with the main threat being damaging wind gusts. There will also be a threat of locally heavy rainfall and isolated flooding, where storms are slow-moving or redevelop over the same area.

Heat index values between 100 and 105 degrees are possible this afternoon across the Piedmont and Foothills of the western Carolinas and Northeast Georgia.
