Anyone who's been listening long enough knows this as the face of Jack, our littlest fan/critic-in-training. It's his birthday today and he loves seeing all the people that show him appreciation, so do us a favor and wish him a Happy Birthday in the comments, he's gonna get a big kick out of seeing all the love he gets.

And if you're in that holiday spirit and showing support, go check out Woody Radio today. They've been graciously hosting our podcast this season on their Internet radio station as part of their "pod people" line up every Wednesday. We usually take up the end, roughly around 8 (can't trust us podcasters to be on a schedule). So go show us, Woody, and the other pod people some holiday season love today.

In case you need more of our drunken mugs for your holiday season, this is your (not so) subtle reminder that we have a Patreon where we post the full video episode we grab all the amazing short form content from. You'll also get to see more of these title cards for the video episodes. And if you're really wanting to show support (or grab yourself something cool for the holidays) don't forget to check out our merch too.

John Hughes wasn't just the '80s. He wrote EVERYTHING. From 'Breakfast Club' to 'Home Alone,' his movies shaped generations.

John Hughes didn't just define the '80s with movies like 16 Candles and The Breakfast Club. He wrote a ton of the movies you love from the '90s too! Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Christmas Vacation, Baby's Day Out... the list goes on! Look him up—you'll be surprised.

Bless this highly entertaining podcast episode and the people who brought it to you. That's right we finally, after several Christmas seasons, realized we hadn't covered the holiday classic that is Home Alone. We tackle Kevin's traps, the intelligence (or lack of) the Wet Bandits, and all of the other Christmas chaos. And to go with this masterpiece we found an equally festive beer in the Christmas Ale from Jackie O's Brewery.

Out now on YouTube and everywhere else you find podcasts.

"Home Alone" defined our Christmases! Watching since we were babies. Who else grew up with Kevin McCallister?

It took us three seasons to get here, but everyone knows what we're doing now: Home Alone! We've been watching it since we were kids. It's a movie of our lifetime. I could see myself in that character.

Very big in Sheboygan.

This week, we’re eating junk and watching.... a true holiday classic! That's right, we finally sit down to talk about the 1990 holiday mainstay, Home Alone. John Hughes masterfully wrote this gem that blends a home invasion into family holiday cheer. Big names, lots of fun and family (and personal) redemption just in time for Christmas.

And to help us find the courage and inspiration to defend ourselves from the Wet Bandits, we found just the drink in Christmas Ale from Jackie O's Brewery. With warm winter spices and hints of honey, this ale really did help boost the Christmas vibes as we entered further into the season and further on our Christmas movie journey.

Keep the change, ya filthy animal!

Our littlest (but not so little anymore!) fan, Jack, watched Ernest Saves Christmas. He loved Ernest's terrible driving skills and his John Wayne imitation. Is it a new favorite Christmas movie? A resounding yes! Subscribe and like!
