We are still on our mini vaction, but didn't want you guys to have to go the whole time without a little something from us. We just released a taste of the banter that gets caught when the cameras are rolling and we forget to actually start the episode. As an added bonus we thought we'd let this little mini episode be a full video (I mean it's not much longer than a short, but who's counting) complete with all the stuff you'd find on one of our Patreon videos. Kind of like a little bonus/ad all at the same time.

So head on over to YouTube and check it out if you need a fix.

We'll be back to things as usual next week with our third season, the season of "Loose Ends".

This movie reveals a dark pact: sweet TV in exchange for your soul. These networks are run like hellish versions of TV stations, complete with executives. It's a wild concept that explores the cost of entertainment.

This movie brings back so much nostalgia. The references, the feeling of childhood fondness—it's all there. It's awesome how something so cheesy can still be so good. Have you felt this?

We have decided that we've seen all the Goodpods buttons in enough places, it was time to throw ourselves out there too. Link in our bio (at this point we're finally collecting enough of those things we might need to make a linktree to house all of them), so go look for us.

Just another reminder that we're taking a week off to prepare for our third season, affectionately known as "Loose Ends". We're gonna try to close up some franchises and hit some movies we've spent 2 years saying we'll get to but so far haven't managed to yet.

Let's play a little game, like we used to do every week, and see if you can figure it out from the beer, and a little extra hint in that it's one of the Pauly Shore Cinematic Universe that we've not done yet. Can you figure out which ones are left and what one are we doing? Our drink of choice for our grand return to more Pauly Shore is the new variety of Wheezing The Juice, Strawberry Rhubarb, by the good people at Mirror Twin Brewing.

And if you're a true fan and still reading this far down, don't worry, we are still doing the official announcement next week (just have to keep the algorithm interested in us 🤷), so you'll know in plenty enough time to try and watch it before you listen.

We finally decided to find out what this is all about, so if you have one find us. If you don't know what Goodpods is, use this as your opportunity to learn more (and follow us). Basically if you can, just show some support and help us grow by letting Goodpods know we're a podcast worth listening too.

The speaker watched this movie for the first time and was impressed by John Ritter's talent. He showcases a lot of range, playing different characters in many ways. The speaker found it to be a comedic masterpiece and recommends others check it out.

This movie is a thousand send-ups, predating and defining meta itself. It's like an hour and a half of SNL cold openers or Robot Chicken fake commercials, but live-action. It's truly amazing. Have you ever seen anything like it?

This week, in our season finale, we were sucked into the 90s cult classic, Stay Tuned! Join us as we revisit the demonic TV parodies, the genius of John Ritter, and debate if this movie holds up, all while cracking open some classic "just like your dad" Bud Light.

Out now on YouTube and everywhere else you find podcasts.

Join us as we get sucked through the screen with couch potato Roy Knable (the legendary John Ritter) and his wife Helen (equally legendary Pam Dawber) into a demonic dimension of satirical TV show parodies in the cult classic Stay Tuned. From "Duane's Underworld" to "Northern Overexposure" we're breaking down all the channel-surfing chaos.

And what's the perfect beverage for a movie about the ultimate couch potato? The quintessential, no-nonsense "beer like your dad drinks", of course. We're cracking open some ice-cold cans of Bud Light and navigating 666 channels of doom.

We beat Spike!

We just celebrated the podcasts birthday, but we still got celebrating to do. Today is host Shane's birthday. Even with his birthday going on he's still hard at work getting today's episode ready to release, another part of the celebration since it happens to be our wrap on season 2.

So wish him a happy birthday and keep an eye out for that special episode later today.
