Kids Day in the Park returns in 1 week!

Saturday, Sept. 20 at Plaza de Cesar Chavez in San Jose, this year’s event features the great Lisa Loeb with The Hollow Trees and the Emmy Award Winning Alphabet Rockers. An all star entertainment lineup with lots more fun throughout the day.

Early Bird tickets are available now for $18 in advance and $25 at the door. Families can also meet mascots from the San Jose Sharks and San Jose Earthquakes while exploring fun booths.

Students from Morgan Hill and southern Santa Clara County arrived at the Santa Cruz County Fair for livestock demonstrations and competitions. Among the standout entries were Milo, a steer shown by Lily Jones of Morgan Hill, and two giant pumpkins weighing 457 and 510 pounds grown by local gardeners. The fair runs through September 14 in Watsonville.
