Fright
There is a new fright in America. It is call shootings in schools. Two parents sent their children to Catholic school in Minneapolis and while they were at mass they were killed. It is not only devastating to the parents but the students as well. This isn't the only school either that has had shootings. I am beginning to think children may be frightened to attend school. What is worse is that it is not only schools. It seems to be happening in a variety of locations. Someone recently went into a department store and shot a couple of people. It has to make you wonder about safety wherever you go. What makes me wonder is why these people do it and then often kill themselves. Calling them a deranged monster doesn't mean anything because it doesn't stop. It is nerve wracking just to visit a shop in America. It doesn't occur in other countries for the most part. Why do you think these people do it? Is it for their fifteen minutes of fame, to be noticed, or just to destroy lives including theirs? I imagine if people have morals they cannot understand this any more than I can. Have you figured it out? Fortunately the only fright in the Good Gus series came from animals. The stories remind children that there are positive events in life. Easy to read in e-book or paperback. "Misplaced Trust" does have fright from the beneficiaries.
