Crashing Out
Until today, when I saw an article about it, I didn't know what crashing out meant. The article discussed celebrities crashing out including Justin Bieber. It said to check out TikTok to see people crying, venting, and even throwing physical temper tantrums. Apparently this is a new term for being unable to handle things in life. We all have those problems but to display it publicly is new at least to me. Previously we called it people losing it but they didn't act this badly. It may be that people are angry, mentally confused, anxious, stressed out or experiencing mental health issues. Previously, people did this in private. Are they doing it for other people to seek attention or are they actually seeking help? It's a tough call. Why aren't these people going to therapy? If a person passes or you are deeply hurt by someone you love, it is understandable to cry everyday until you get a handle on it. I knew that my grandmother was going to pass as she had been sick. However, when all of a sudden my grandfather passed, it was devasting to me. The old song, "Cry me a River" didn't even come close. When my Aunt Helen suddenly passsed due to a heart attack, I had a great deal of trouble getting past it. It was not easy. I do, however, have a few items from my grandparents and my aunt. Believe it not it helps. However, I did not do a public display. Do you crash out? This type of behavior did not exist in the Good Gus series. Bad Bart did have a temper tantrum but Sheriff Gus solved it quickly. The series gives valuable lessons to young children and is available in paperback and e-book form. In "Misplaced Trust" crashing out is a good term for some of the behavior of a few characters. It is available in e-book form. The Good Gus Series is available online at Kindle, Nook and Waterstones.
