Hello August šŸ‘‹! Happy Back-to-School month! āœļøā˜•ļø

I know this time can be bittersweet, but if Iā€™m honestā€¦ Iā€™m looking forward to getting back into our routine.

One of the biggest reasons I worked so hard to build a business from home was so I could be there for school drop-offs, pickups, field trips, sick days, and all the little moments I missed when I worked a traditional 9ā€“5 with my older kids.

Summer has been so much fun, and Iā€™ve loved having Sky home. But when youā€™re self-employed, the work doesnā€™t pause just because school does. Balancing a full-time business while trying to make summer magical can be a lot.

Iā€™m excited for her to learn, make new memories, and for both of us to settle back into a routine that lets us thrive.

My boss is making me work late on a Friday night because itā€™s the last day of the month and we have goals to hit.

Thatā€™s the thing about working for yourself. Nobody makes you do the work. You either have the disciplineā€¦ or you donā€™t.

Happy to have sold a heavy jacket todayā€¦

Even though weā€™re heading into warmer weather, cold weather items are still selling for me.

This one was bulky, heavier, and definitely not ā€œin seasonā€ā€¦ but it still moved!

I always love these reminders that buyers shop for all seasons year-round.

Are jackets, coats, or colder weather pieces still selling for you too?
Or are you seeing a slowdown?

Even though weā€™re heading into warmer weather, cold weather items are still selling for me.

Iā€™d rather accept $15 with free shipping from a kind buyer than $30 from someone rude and demanding.

I picked this up at the bins and I donā€™t usually donā€™t let emotions get involved in resellingā€¦ but sometimes principle is principle.
Kind buyers make this business enjoyable. Entitled ones? Not so much.

Fellow resellersā€¦ would you take this offer or wait for a less demanding buyer?
