Morgantown Social NetworX MSNX Morgantown Social NetworX holds Happy Hour gatherings each month in Morgantown, WV supporting local establishments giving people an opportunity to network.

Morgantown Social NetworX provides an opportunity via happy hours each month for people to network with others to make friends, find a date, let others know you are looking for a job, tell people about your business, the services you offer or an event, share ideas, sell something like a home (bring a flyer) or reconnect with people you have not seen in a while. The goal is to keep it simple, fun a

nd make the experience successful for both the venue and those that attend – so that people want to visit the venue again and keep them in business. Mary Lynn Ulch started doing these happy hours in Phoenix, AZ in 2002. When she moved to Morgantown in 2011 to take a job with WVU Foundation, she was encouraged by family and friends that knew about the happy hours in Phoenix to start having them in Morgantown. Each Happy Hour is held at locally-owned establishments in the Morgantown area. Since July 2012, Happy Hours have been held at Bartini Morgantown (3x's), Black Bear Evansdale, Cafe Bacchus, The Dancing Fig, Jameson's Pub and Eatery, Montmartre Restaurant & Bar, Morgantown Brew Pub, Mountain State Brewery (2x’s), Oliverio’s Restorante on the Wharf, Pies & Pints, Rat Pack Bar & Lounge at the Waterfront Hotel, Regatta Bar & Grille at Waterfront Place Hotel, Rocktop Bar & Grill (2x’s) now called Rocktop Lounge & Rooftop Cabana, Table 9 Gastropub (2x's), The Vintage Room, The Wine Bar at Vintner Valley, and Yesterday’s Restaurant, Bar & Grill. The age range of attendees is 21 – 84 with attendance ranging from 65 - 88 people at each one. Please join us at a future happy hour. Through Evite you will receive 2 emails a month – one to let you know about the event and a reminder the week of the happy hour. Note: Email information is not shared with others.
