Clayton County Chamber of Commerce hosts Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

We were honored to welcome Chris Clark, CEO of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce (), as our keynote speaker at the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce’s Truist Networking Series Luncheon! 🎤✨

Chris shared some fascinating insights on the New Georgia Economy and the exciting changes on the horizon. By 2030, Georgia will see a 5.45% increase in population and 681,000 new jobs, with a significant number requiring post-secondary degrees. This growth presents both challenges and opportunities for our community.

His talk emphasized the importance of preparing for these changes through talent development, infrastructure improvements, and forward-thinking policies. We’re inspired by his vision for a thriving future and are committed to tackling workforce challenges and enhancing our local economy.

📚🎒 On July 13th, the Rotary Club of Lake Spivey/Clayton County demonstrated the Magic of Rotary by partnering with Bread Basket Ministries, Inc. for their annual Back to School project! This year, we proudly purchased 500 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to support local students.

"Our club felt it was important to support students and parents by providing essential and regulation-compliant book bags. This allows parents to focus on other necessities to ensure a smooth start to the school year," said Club President Judith Bennett.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this project a success! Together, we are making a positive impact in our community and ensuring our students are ready for a successful school year. 💙📖

🚨🚨Missing Persons BOLO for Ethan Franklin🚨🚨

On Saturday, May 18, 2024, at approximately 22:50 hours, Clayton County Police Department officers responded to 4112 Lindbergh Way Rex, GA, 30273.

Ethan Franklin was last seen leaving the residence around 19:30 hours on a black and orange bicycle on May 18, 2024. Franklin was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black sweatpants. Franklin is 13 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs 160 pounds. Franklin has black short dreads with brown eyes.
