You will see thousands of things today, in person and online, but only a small handful will be committed to memory. You will only notice what stands out. You will only remember what you connect with—positive or negative.
Attention, Interest, Desire, Action. These are the phases in which you will attract your new fans. What will they find when they go looking, or what will they discover when they check out the suggestion from the ads you are running?
Will they find new ways and platforms to connect with you, or will they hear one of the 135,000+ songs released that day and keep it moving? Everyone and everything will be seen, but will you be remembered?
Are you ready to pick up when the attention fades and carry them over to your next project? Will they care to follow you on that journey? What all artists want is to make a living from their art.
It's only a gamble when you aren't informed; it's calculated when you have all of the information.
