I completed July's block for 3rd Saturday BOM . I still used my block system for it, along with Acorn Precision Piecing glue and their Press Pen. The border for the blocks do require cutting with a ruler. You can see my hubby's hands in one of the pictures. Be careful if you try this method at your home...We have been working together for 43 years...So we have practiced a few times . No one has been injured as of yet 😁

Don't you just love a scrappy quilt? I do! And this one is no exception. LouAnne did a fantastic job using her stash. She put a lot of sewing and designing time into this one! Great job LouAnne🧵

I had some time this week to complete my block for 3rd Saturday BOM for June (2 days before it's due😁). This block was not as challenging as last months. I still used my block system for it, along with Acorn Precision Piecing glue and their Press Pen.

Now, only 4 more blocks to complete and I'll be caught up.....and, of course, I'll also need to piece July's!

Quilting had been on Rita’s Bucket List. But now, with the help of some church friends, she can cross that off of her list! The 2 quilts that she made were for family members and I’m sure they will love them.

After completing the reorganization early, I had some time to complete my block for 3rd Saturday BOM. I have been learning how to use my AccuQuilt Block System for converting patterns, so that I can cut them with the dies. I have Poland Syndrome (missing main pectoral muscle) and not able to use a rotary cutter and ruler without someone helping.

The block was challenging for me with 73 pieces, some as small as 1” square! I decided to try Acorn Precision Piecing glue and their Press Pen. The combination of these were wonderful…I LOVE IT! Take a look at the last picture and see the back of the block and how well it pressed.

This week at Aunt B's, we are organizing our Longarm area. Things were a little crazy for awhile, but the room is now organized. This should help the longarm process to run more smoothly. The sewing area still needs some care, but should be ready in a day or two.....
and yes, that's my lovely photo/moving assistant.....Walt with NO social media.....husband of 43 years now.....always willing to help 🥰

Linda (AKA The Pink Lady) did a wonderful job on piecing this beautiful quilt for her Granddaughter Emmie's Graduation! Bouquet e2e design by OESD Longarm Quilting was perfect for it. I'm sure Emmie will treasure this gift for a long time!

Diane’s 1st quilt was pieced for her great nephew. Her color choices were great and we thought “Mr. Marbles” pantograph would add a little whimsy to this baby quilt. Her 2nd quilt was a Deer Panel (AKA Fred!). I thought her choice of piano keys added a special touch to the panel. It is quilted in “Wood Grain” by Jessica Schick available at Urban Elementz.
