The Luke Audio Black Magic is a serious tool for serious musicians and recording engineers. I can't recommend it enough. I'll talk about it at length some day.

Also pictured is the lovely Orange Rocker 32 true stereo amp with an MD421 and SE Electronics passive ribbon in front.

Good gear is never a substitute for good ears... But it helps if you have both. Moreover, a good mix is never a substitute for a good recording - you'll need both.
