More than a museum, it’s a place that invites you to reflect on leadership, community, public service, and the stories that shape our nation. Whether you’re a history buff or simply curious, it’s a fascinating stop that encourages conversation and learning.

One of the reasons we started this series is because we want our kids to experience history beyond the pages of a textbook, and we’re learning right alongside them.

Stay a little longer.

Because one day, you’ll realize these weren’t just ordinary afternoons…

📍Stephens Falls, Governor Dodge State Park

This hike gave us everything… a beautiful waterfall, freezing water to dip our feet in, balanced rocks, muddy trails from the rain, wild blackberries, and even a NOT FUN black bear sighting along the trail. 🐻😳

It ended up being one of those adventures we’ll be talking about for years.

• 1 hour from Madison
• 2 hours from Milwaukee
• 3.5 hours from Chicago

🎒 What to Pack
✔️ Hiking shoes and sticks (the trail gets muddy & slippery after the rain)
✔️ Water and protein snacks for fuel
✔️ Bug spray
✔️ A towel if you want to dip your feet in
✔️ A change of clothes for the kids
✔️ Stay bear aware and always give wildlife plenty of space
