If today had a color, it would be blue. 💙🐋
Not because of the ocean, but because the biggest animal to ever exist stole the show. Blue whales are everywhere in the bay right now, peacefully going about their lives, and it’s impossible not to be amazed.
Fun fact: a blue whale can grow up to 100 feet long (about five pickup trucks lined up!), and its heart is so massive that a toddler could crawl through one of its arteries. 🤯
After seeing so many blue whales, the humpback we found later almost felt like a dolphin! 😂

Word of the Day: DIVERSITY 🐋✨
One of those rare, unforgettable days on the ocean!
On today’s private charter, we encountered 2 fin whales, 2 blue whales, humpback whales, even had an s***m whale out there, and an incredible pod of orcas that spent time socializing around our boat before hunting sea lions.

Days like this remind us how wild and diverse the ocean truly is. 🌊

Humpback whales breaching, pec slapping, and nonstop feeding activity everywhere we looked. Giant sunfish lunge feeding at the surface while thousands of Velella velella drifted across the ocean like tiny blue sails 💙

The bay was on fire with wildlife today 🌊🐋
