The Dukart boys have been busy with their show animals this summer. 4 of the 5 head in their show string were bred, born, and raised at Friedt Herefords. Hailey Klym also showed the heifer she bought in our 2025 production sale.

Gary & Kirsten from Friedt Herefords attended this event and had a great time. Really is amazing how everything at the plant just works and moves together. We were impressed! And clean! Wow! I really appreciated having the tour guide share information on their whole process from preventing injuries to employees to preventing cross contamination to how much the company loves their Hereford beef program! Thank you Sarah Cover and Greater Omaha for the experience! Thanks to Megan, Dusty, & Drew for managing things at the ranch so we could get away! It truly is a great time to be in the Hereford business!

Mott Health Care Center celebrated National Autioneer’s Day with our favorite auctioneer, Aaron Friedt. He tried to get us to “buy” chairs and a fan, finally we “bought” some socks and jewelry! No one felt like trying out their own auctioneer chant. Thanks for the great job!!

Congratulations to our bull customers, the Langleys. Their Hereford replacement heifers topped the market at Napoleon Livestock yesterday.

Calving is in full swing! Lots of babies on the ground and the “help” is tired! Both Gary and his dog can sleep anywhere anytime, even in the middle of a pretty active bonfire!
