There is nothing more stressful and exhausting than trying to operate outside of your calling. It isn’t that stress and exhaustion won’t happen while operating inside of your calling, however you have a peace.

On the other hand, there is nothing more fulfilling and meaningful than operating in the calling in which you have been full well destined.

One of the most dangerous, yet all too common problems believers fall into is judging another’s praise. If you don’t clap, raise your hands, sing out loud, sing certain styles, stand, and the list continues, then you’re not praising. Consequently, if you do the above mentioned then you are or not praising properly.

Crazy enough God has given us a clear word on this and that word is NO ONE knows the heart and all we are capable of is judging the outer appearance. Some take that as a right to do so, but to do so is taking that scripture out of context. It means you are in no position to judge or condemn someone for their physical display of emotion.

Praise genuinely comes from the heart and internal processing of a mind engaged in worship, not a mere feeling! We are given emotions and should use them, however it is not the barometer by which we can judge.

“Good enough” will eventually kill you, your family, your organization. Maybe not physically, although that is certainly a possibility, but it will kill your drive and your morale. Good enough is the fastest path to mediocrity, and too many think that’s good enough!

This is a little louder for the people who equivocate loud emotions with true worship. We are not the same!

Just because someone can sing the loudest, shout the longest, or raise their hands the highest doesn’t automatically mean they’re walking the closest.

True discipleship usually shows up after church…

In how we love people who are hard to love.
In how we forgive when no one’s watching.
In how we live out our faith on Monday, not just sing about it on Sunday.

Worship is beautiful.
But obedience is louder than volume.

And sometimes the strongest disciples are the quiet ones quietly living it out every single day.
