🔥 Shawn English headlines HDH with UKM 🤩

The Florida native that will now be known as the “Alpha at Alma” joins the UKM team to talk about the pure dominance from the Maxxis Nationals!

Shawn English is a name that many Florida area racers know well and now, everyone knows the name. Shawn has grown over the past few years and has become a threat in his region. Once racing with only his father Rick they have now both moved onto teaming with Jimmy Ballew who operates Killer Cutz & Tire Solutions and it has showed greatly!

Shawn will sit down with us and talk about his rise in this sport, the roots that got him started, why he still chooses to do it and what it means to double down at the Maxxis Nationals!

With the Florida Karting Series awards banquet this weekend, let’s get the conversation started about adding the Hobby class.

Callahan (I believe) is the only track in Florida currently running these.

•Looking for opinions
•Talking points from others who run the class

•How easy is it to “build/put together”
•Will it make for a good entry level class to run the series?

FKS runs 5 stops around the southeast, The Speedway Park, Crossroads Motorplex, Callahan, and maybe a bonus track this year.

Recap!

Life’s been busy, late prep, late to the track, not my normal parking, no mom and a rain out.

GREAT DAY OF RACING! This sport/hobby is the best thing one could ask for, the feeling of being at the track hanging out, competing, helping other is what I look forward to the most. Especially after a long week.

We had over 150 karts at The Speedway Park for the first race after the summer break. $500 to win heavy and $200 for a Jr class. Just a bunch of good racing, 2 groove track (bumpy but fast) and I can’t wait to get back in a few weeks.
