Peach had seen these fun Halloween items that were coming to Target and we both kept a close eye on their release. The day finally came and we both were on it. So much spooky fun! Outer Rim: A cherry, lime, and prickly pear fruit beer and Dark Side: A blackberry, black raspberry, and pineberry fruit beer from Heavy Reel Brewing Co.

Blueberry Braggot Ale: a fruited honey ale brewed with wildflower honey, pilsner malt, and blueberry puree from Flying Fish Brewing Company

The Bull: A high gravity brew from Schlitz and Pabst Brewing

Curd It Before It Was Cool: a lemony yogurt sour beer from Neck of the Woods Brewing Company

And

Plunder Punch: the classic Painkiller cocktail turned into a full-blown tropical treasure haul loaded with pineapple, orange, toasted coconut, silky coconut cream, and a touch of rum character for an island-inspired sour from Neck of the Woods and Axe and Arrow Brewing

Snacks. You know we love 'em. You can never have enough. You, perhaps, can have too many, but does that mean you have enough? We don't think so. No matter how many snacks we have on hand, if something catches our eyes, odds are we're gonna grab it.

This time we grabbed two different flavors from Herr's. "Liberty" Hickory Barbecue and Sour Cream & French Onion. We're not sure what hickory barbecue has to do with America's Semiquincentennial, but we'll just go with it. Also, when it comes to sour cream and onion, Pumpkin is usually on board if it's in chip form. He doesn't touch the actual dip. It's a texture thing. The sour cream and french onion was intriguing, and since it was still in chip form, it was doable.

How did we feel about these chips? Have you tried them? Would you try them?

Pumpkin stopped by to check out Home Team Tavern with some friends recently. It's a new bar/restaurant that has opened in Mt. Ephriam within the last month or so. It's always nice to see a new business open. Hopefully it will be able to complete with some of the bigger establishments in the area. Perhaps Peach will be able to come check it out soon.
