“Daily obedience leads to long-term clarity.”

Psalm 119:105 tells us that God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Often, we want the whole map laid out before we take a single step, but the lamp only shows us what is right in front of us.

We’ve found in 29 years of marriage and ministry that the Word is “motion activated.” Revelation doesn't always come while you're standing still; it comes as you move. When you take that one step of daily obedience, the light moves with you, revealing the next step, and the next.

If you’re looking for clarity today, don't wait for the whole path to be lit. Just take the one step God has already put in front of you.

Don’t let your pursuit of the "many" cost you the "mighty."

In leadership and ministry, it’s easy to fall into the trap of trying to keep everyone comfortable. But the truth is, catering to those who are lukewarm often ends up dampening the spirit of those who are ready to run.

We are called to fan the flames of revival, not manage the status quo. To see true momentum: whether in your marriage or your ministry: you have to prioritize the fire. When you focus on those who are hungry for God, you create an environment where everyone is pulled toward growth.

Every morning, I start with a secret weapon. I play a song that has become my prayer to be a "crown" for Raymond, reflecting Proverbs 12:4: "An excellent wife is the crown of her husband."

As wives in ministry, we represent our husband’s leadership. But that radiance doesn’t come from him being perfect: it comes from us staying in God's presence. When we are rooted in the Word and being the women God called us to be, we don't just stand beside our husbands; we honor the call God placed on our lives together.

In my book, "Leading Ladies for Women in Ministry," I dive deeper into how we can walk this path with grace. Our reflection isn't about him: it’s about our intimacy with the Father.
