🚧 SOUTH MT. JULIET ROAD WIDENING PROJECT 🚧
Big improvements are coming to one of Mt. Juliet’s busiest corridors — and we’re one major step closer to making it happen!

The South Mt. Juliet Road Widening Project will expand Mt. Juliet Road from Providence Way to south of Central Pike into a six-lane, median-divided roadway.

✅ Includes bike lanes and sidewalks on both sides
✅ Improves Central Pike and other side streets
✅ Designed to enhance traffic flow, safety, and connectivity

📍 Current Status:
The project is in the Right-of-Way phase, with 80% of pre-construction activity complete.

💰 Funding Update:
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has announced that the project is now fully funded, with an estimated total cost of $66.3 million — including $64.3 million in grant funding.

🗓 What’s Next:
TDOT’s recent update lists a construction year of 2032, but the City of Mt. Juliet and TDOT continue working closely together to accelerate that timeline and begin construction as soon as possible.

This investment represents a major step toward improving safety and reducing congestion.

These emails are not legitimate and are not connected to any official City of Mt. Juliet department or employee. If you receive an unexpected email asking for payment, do not respond or click any links.
