proofs came back today, tomorrow I’ll email McNaughton & Gunn to give them the go-ahead. This feels like crossing the finish line to a race that was longer and more exhausting than I could’ve ever guessed. This is the part where I’m lying in the grass, heaving and in disbelief at my (meager?) achievement, after finishing with a very poor time, but, you know, still a PR. (In other words: Thanks ineffably for your continued patience).

Our Story

“Temenos” is a Greek word that refers to a sacred space where people can be themselves without fear. Temenos magazine publishes poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and art by new and established writers and artists. The magazine has no philosophical or aesthetic allegiances, but instead tries to recognize excellence in all of its forms. Temenos was established in 2000 and is run by graduate students of Central Michigan University. We publish two issues each year (generally Fall and Spring), and send contributor copies to those whose work we include in the issue as payment.
