Our friends at Vive Le Rock Productions told us live on air and now we have the official date change announcement for the North Charleston holiday parade and festival! Dec 13th! The Holiday Hootenanny at Commonhouse Aleworks is also moved to the 13th.

🎅North Charleston Christmas Parade and Festival Rescheduled to December 13 at 3pm (new time)
🎄Christmas Tree Lighting to Proceed as Scheduled on Friday, December at 6pm.

The City of North Charleston announces updates to its upcoming holiday events in response to projected weather conditions.

The Christmas Tree Lighting and Cocoa with Santa will proceed as scheduled this Friday at Park Circle. To ensure a comfortable experience for attendees, the City will provide covered space at the Park Circle Community Center.

Due to anticipated weather, the North Charleston Christmas Parade and Christmas Festival have been rescheduled to Saturday, December 13. Festival activities will begin at 2 p.m., and the parade will begin at 3 p.m. Road closures along the parade route will start at 12:45 p.m.

The City of North Charleston appreciates the community’s understanding and looks forward to celebrating the holiday season safely and joyfully with residents and visitors alike.
