The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) president, Leah Martin, shared with Kontji Anthony on WREG News Channel 3 in Memphis, Tennessee, some of the future intentions for the recent IHRA acquisition known as Memphis Motorsports Park (𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘔𝘔𝘙 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸).

In the Live At 9:00 morning show the IHRA president was asked "what can we expect?" beyond for the facility. In response the oval was mentioned. Near to thought with the oval was the news of an intention for the facility unknown by the mass of the community until this interview. "There is a dirt track coming back" was the IHRA president's news drop on set at the local news station.

Miss Anthony did ask if the IHRA team had been in touch with . President Martin expressed with the future teamwork between the IHRA and NASCAR to take place with the Rockingham Speedway purchase and schedule that "we [IHRA} will be pursuing that as well here." A NASCAR return to Memphis is at least desired by the IHRA at the Memphis motorsports facility.

Beyond the venue hosting action the IHRA president gave insight that we should expect the location to be used for more. Their will be the addition of an amphitheater with concerts scheduled. With the musical history and roots of that we certainly be a welcomed lineup along with nearly everything .

On the eve of a ground breaking ceremony that will take place on January 7th in Millington, Tennessee. The IHRA President emphasized an impactful future - "I think we'll host large national and international events in [under] three years."

The famed 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 is 60 days away! Have you been to March Meet? If so, when and how many?

Monday Morning Racer will be at the March Meet to cover Funny Car, Top Fuel, and Fuel Altered. Full eliminations video will be created. We're pleased to acknowledge partners in coverage such as:
