HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT from SBG Radio and Internet Radio 1340 KWSD...

SBG Radio and Internet Radio 1340 KWSD is proud to announce the addition of classic programs from the nationally-syndicated Ryan Richards Show. We will call it The Best of the Ryan Richards Show, hosted by former Bay Area and North Valley radio talent Ryan Richards, who has well over 30 years of experience in radio and is a former master control operator/BTS tech at three different television stations in the Chico area.

"Having Ryan's talent being showcased again, this time on our internet radio station, will show people his talent, professionalism and sense of humor which seems to be missing in today's radio. It is currently under construction, but once we have everything ready, we will add individual site page for SBG Radio, SBG Television, KWSD Internet Radio 1340 and KSQU Internet TV Channel 8Y. BREAKING NEWS...

We are happy to announce that as of 6:00am Pacific this Saturday, KWSD Radio will officially sign on and operate as an actual internet radio station. All programming previously known as "test programming" will be renamed "regular/backup" and "overnight programming". We still have further testing and run under automation. Regular programming will begin with The Best of One Nostalgic Weekend Saturday at 9:00pm Pacific, then the Whiskey & Ci******es All Day Sunday starting at 9:00am Pacific, followed by a replay of The Best of One Nostalgic Weekend Sunday at 9:00pm Pacific, then God Talk: The Word Of God Show airs at a new time on this new station at 6:00am Pacific currently set for Monday through Friday, but could become seven days a week (undetermined at this time).
KWSD Radio has been on the air since July 14th at 9:00pm Pacific and has been under test program mode, but will switch top regular programming. Future programs will be added soon. So once again, join us on Saturday at 6:00am as we officially sign on the air. Don't miss it!

"The fact that the KWSD Radio name has returned to air, this time on internet radio, is living proof that radio is alive and well in Siskiyou County. I'm so pleased to do this is my way of paying tribute to the Rees Family, who started the ORIGINAL KWSD-AM 620 and carried on the legacy until the mid-1990's. That's the KWSD I remember and hope make the Rees family proud since I go back with them many, many years. It's time we bring old school back to be a part of new school.

"Dennis Michaels (in my opinion) was the innovator in live streaming radio before live streaming was even fashionable with KZRO z100fm. Then, Kevin Sponsler brought back Siskiyou Country after KSYC-FM went to JPR by launching the new Siskiyou Country Radio. I'm just the latest to bring radio into a new era and a new medium. Terrestrial radio may be disappearing slowly, but it shouldn't ruin the dreams you believed in for years.

"I guess you can say I FINALLY made it! Stay tuned as we build a new station from scratch. The legacy of Siskiyou County radio moves on and will grew once again in this new medium we call internet radio. Thank you everyone for your patience and for those who have started to listen to our station, the NEW KWSD Radio 720!"

This weekend, KWSD Radio 720 Mount Shasta will undergo program testing for The Best of One Nostalgic Weekend, an old-time radio program hosted by Jonathan Rios of WON Radio Network and NY 48 WWON-TV.
