Lawsonsrock I’m lawsonsrock, we are located in south central Kentucky. We focus on breeding Nigerian dwarf and mini machas . We also breed Flemish giant rabbits nopedigree.

We have started hatching quails for small homesteaders and a few different chicken breeds.

Good morning, I need some help! This guy is a keeper buck! And I need help with his name, so he will have the herd name (Lawsonsrock) it can only have 32 characters max and I have his name rn as “Lawsonsrock Augustus” it’s at 20 characters rn. Any suggestions on how to improve his name. Also fyi he’s named after Gus on Lonesome Dove. Any suggestions will be reviewed. Also as long as it at least says Gus I’ll be fine.

I will have two adult erect-eared mini Lamancha does, a mother and daughter, available for relocation in Spring 2027. Both will be in milk at the time of transfer. They are registered with MDGA under the herd name LawsonsRock. A discounted price will be offered for a package deal. The black and white doe can be temperamental and prefers not to be hand-milked, although she will tolerate machine milking. In contrast, Maple enjoys being milked by hand, but has small teats, and I exclusively hand milk. I am seeking a prompt relocation; serious buyers are encouraged to submit an offer. I’ll get better photos today and will pin udder photos as well in comments.

Could also move bred this fall, price will be higher tho. Pm me if you are interested. Both are currently in milk rn.

The brooder is getting a little busier around here!

We’ve been adding baby ducks, baby chicks, and quail to the farm, and every peep, chirp, and splash reminds us why we love raising poultry. Watching these tiny birds grow from fluffy babies into confident members of the flock is one of the best parts of farm life.

The ducks are already finding trouble, the chicks are exploring every corner they can reach, and the quail are proving that being small doesn’t stop them from having big personalities.

It’s going to be a fun season watching these little ones grow. Which would you choose—ducks, chickens, or quail?
