Due to some unforeseen issues with temperature control, we had to close the large live room until we can find a way to manage the problem. The good news: we have a larger recording space than we would have. We are temporarily using a spare room in the house as the main studio. Though its not what we had envisioned, this actually gives us more space to work with intimate guitar and vocal work and wont hinder our drum recordings at all! In fact we could even record drums in the room if we wanted to! (Dont worry drummers. We still have a separate space for your double kick drum, 7 tom, 3 snare kit 🤘)

🎶Do you have a song you want to share with the world but perhaps don't have the equipment or know-how? Maybe you're band has an album recorded but the mixing and mastering is yet to be desired💿. Or maybe you need a place to record an ad for your business📻. What you need is a recording studio that will do all this for a reasonable price!

Mouse and the Dog Artist Studio, located just 12 miles west of the Corn Palace of Mitchell SD, is a place where you can write, record, and master what you need in the airwaves. Hire an in house engineer or bring your own and use the space and equipment for whatever purposes you need whether it be mics🎙, computers💻, piano🎹, guitars🎸, mandolins🎻, even an upright bass if you're so inclined.

Mouse and the Dog Artist Studios houses 2 recording areas:
1) A control room, which houses the recording computer and rack equipment. This room is the smaller of the 2 but is large enough to record guitars and vocals comfortably.

However if you are in need of a bigger space for drums or in need to play a live piano. We have a second room.

2) The live room, which is large enough for a full band. This room is perfect for drums, large amp cabs, and can either be directly recorded to the control room computer or you can bring your own laptop and record from our input system to your device.
