The Month of August is Jam Packed each and every year with Great Dirt Racing Action here in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky!!! My Wife and I attended the 43rd Annual Sunoco North/South 100 on August 7th, 8th and 9th at Florence Speedway!!! This past weekend my Wife, Daughter and I attended the 38th Annual Paul “Butterball” Wooldridge Memorial at Richmond Raceway KY!!! This Weekend we plan to keep the month of August rolling by attending Ponderosa Speedway on Friday Night August 22nd for a $5,000 to Win Super Late Model Show!!! On Saturday Night August 23rd we plan to attend the 14th Annual Harold Hardgrove Memorial at Lake Cumberland Speedway paying $12,022 to Win for the Super Late Models!!!

I took the house car for a spin this weekend at Rockcastle Speedway and had a great time hanging out with friends and family! My boy was excited to go watch me race and he had a great time at the track.

Finished 2nd in the heat race and ran 4th and 5th for most of the feature before the radiator hose came loose. I managed a few laps without water before the car went into limp mode and was barely able to crawl off the track. Honestly, it was good to finally get some laps in these cars and I learned a lot. Maybe I can get up there and run with those front 3 or 4 before long.

We’ll see you at the races again soon!
