No article for this one, yet. By the time I get it written, Mercury retrograde, which started November 9th, is more than half over. It doesn't station direct until November 29th, right after Thanksgiving here in the U.S.
Started around 6 Sagittarius or so (I don't have my exact notes as Chrome decided it was going to take a s*** and close every tab and window I had, in true Mercury retro fashion.) It'll station direct around 25 Scorpio around November 29th, and where we started with long-distance travel disruptions (think all the airline delays, government shutdown and the air traffic controller shortages stemming from that)...
We are now entering the Scorpio part of this, and heading back into those deeper, darker subjects beneath the deep, subconscious issues, hidden topics like the occult, and the other things I probably get dinged for for talking about on this platform these days. Also shared resources and debt, such as the bloodbath we're seeing in some of the markets this week. (such as alternative currencies).
I'm sure some people have had exes come back and proposition, um, things. If you haven't, and had no desire for that kind of contact, excellent. These review cycles are probably a bit different then.
The pre-retrograde shadow and this actual retrograde period has also laid bare how things go tech-wise, such as the AWS outage, the Azure outage, the recent Cloudflare outage...
Given that Mercury Rx is also now opposing Uranus Rx which returned to Ta**us and should station in the next few months around 27 Ta**us (dangerously close to fixed star Algol) before it returns to forward motion from our spot here on Earth, and leaves Ta**us for good for the next several decades. Expect more tech glitches, communications errors, and market disruptions. nVidia was apparently immune to the market problem thing given their earnings call today, so this could really go either way for the rest of it. **(Not Financial Advice (NFA)).
Mercury Rx, which will also be in *Cazimi* with the New Moon in Scorpio tonight when that's in exact Sun-Moon conjunction, also forms a Water Grand Trine to Neptune Rx in late Pisces (on fixed star Scheat, so pay attention to addiction issues and accidents/poisonings), Saturn Rx in Pisces, and Jupiter Rx in Cancer. We can see where we need to do better and apply some discipline to get to where we'd like to be, or closer or similar to it.
But you gotta do the work, as the Dark Side of the Grand Trine is letting things go and wait forever for things to happen, when you need to do that little nudge to get the ball rolling. None of this "where's my blessings? It was a Grand Trine!" "Did you do the work?" "I didn't think I had to do anything?"
You still have to do the work, and be aware of revisions and delays while doing this. Sometimes a second look yields new perspectives, after all.
And on a personal note, the pre-retrograde period began with my first work laptop's SSD taking a huge dump. As retrograde season has proceeded, my car's head gasket also decided to self-destruct. Not even 5000 miles after a previous major repair to the cooling system which incurred a $7000 loan I'm still paying off for a car that no longer is operational and beyond its prime at only 121,000 miles. As well as other continuous tech issues and disruptions I've had. So this Mercury retrograde period can end anytime where I'm concerned. It also stationed 2 degrees past my Ascendant and has reversed into my own 12th house, so I'm definitely seeing where I've had some self-sabotage and now have to adjust those personal hiccups.
But, I do have a few good things coming, and even that seems a little delayed and muted, no doubt courtesy of taxes and other institutional delay fun. So not all doom and gloom on my end, but I am dealing with a lot of stuff plus a deadline for work Thursday morning, so...
At least I made the header image for the article that I couldn't get to. May as well as share it.
Hope everyone else has better luck with the rest of this retrograde cycle than I've had. I haven't even looked up when it exits the shadow, so I'll update that later. Right now, I have other issues to tend to, and wanted to at least post this update.
