An astrology blog dedicated to writing on current transits, current events, astrological aspects, and a focus on asteroids and fixed stars in astrology. Asteroids in astrology beyond the big four (Ceres, Pallas, Juno, and Vesta) and the centaur Chiron is a relatively newer study, so there's a lot yet to discover and write upon. That's what I'm here for. Fixed stars are also a more esoteric branch of astrology, but also has its uses in study.

Apologies for the lack of a Full Moon Gemini article this time around.

I can tell you it was around 13 Gemini, effectively making a Grand Cross to the North and South Nodes in Pisces and Virgo respectively.

We are at a crossroads. Do we dream big. Or do we retreat into paralysis by overanalysis?

Also remember past health issues with South Node Virgo. I sure did as I caught a viral cold this week, which bloomed into three secondary bacterial infections. And had to return a rental car and now am waiting for a ride back to the house as the rental place won’t give me a ride back. They can’t risk infecting their drivers. Can’t blame them really.

Take care of yourselves out there. And do watch for unexpected things popping up with Black Moon Lilith opposing Uranus retrograde.

No article for this one, yet. By the time I get it written, Mercury retrograde, which started November 9th, is more than half over. It doesn't station direct until November 29th, right after Thanksgiving here in the U.S.

Started around 6 Sagittarius or so (I don't have my exact notes as Chrome decided it was going to take a s*** and close every tab and window I had, in true Mercury retro fashion.) It'll station direct around 25 Scorpio around November 29th, and where we started with long-distance travel disruptions (think all the airline delays, government shutdown and the air traffic controller shortages stemming from that)...

We are now entering the Scorpio part of this, and heading back into those deeper, darker subjects beneath the deep, subconscious issues, hidden topics like the occult, and the other things I probably get dinged for for talking about on this platform these days. Also shared resources and debt, such as the bloodbath we're seeing in some of the markets this week. (such as alternative currencies).

I'm sure some people have had exes come back and proposition, um, things. If you haven't, and had no desire for that kind of contact, excellent. These review cycles are probably a bit different then.

The pre-retrograde shadow and this actual retrograde period has also laid bare how things go tech-wise, such as the AWS outage, the Azure outage, the recent Cloudflare outage...

Given that Mercury Rx is also now opposing Uranus Rx which returned to Ta**us and should station in the next few months around 27 Ta**us (dangerously close to fixed star Algol) before it returns to forward motion from our spot here on Earth, and leaves Ta**us for good for the next several decades. Expect more tech glitches, communications errors, and market disruptions. nVidia was apparently immune to the market problem thing given their earnings call today, so this could really go either way for the rest of it. **(Not Financial Advice (NFA)).

Mercury Rx, which will also be in *Cazimi* with the New Moon in Scorpio tonight when that's in exact Sun-Moon conjunction, also forms a Water Grand Trine to Neptune Rx in late Pisces (on fixed star Scheat, so pay attention to addiction issues and accidents/poisonings), Saturn Rx in Pisces, and Jupiter Rx in Cancer. We can see where we need to do better and apply some discipline to get to where we'd like to be, or closer or similar to it.

But you gotta do the work, as the Dark Side of the Grand Trine is letting things go and wait forever for things to happen, when you need to do that little nudge to get the ball rolling. None of this "where's my blessings? It was a Grand Trine!" "Did you do the work?" "I didn't think I had to do anything?"

You still have to do the work, and be aware of revisions and delays while doing this. Sometimes a second look yields new perspectives, after all.

And on a personal note, the pre-retrograde period began with my first work laptop's SSD taking a huge dump. As retrograde season has proceeded, my car's head gasket also decided to self-destruct. Not even 5000 miles after a previous major repair to the cooling system which incurred a $7000 loan I'm still paying off for a car that no longer is operational and beyond its prime at only 121,000 miles. As well as other continuous tech issues and disruptions I've had. So this Mercury retrograde period can end anytime where I'm concerned. It also stationed 2 degrees past my Ascendant and has reversed into my own 12th house, so I'm definitely seeing where I've had some self-sabotage and now have to adjust those personal hiccups.

But, I do have a few good things coming, and even that seems a little delayed and muted, no doubt courtesy of taxes and other institutional delay fun. So not all doom and gloom on my end, but I am dealing with a lot of stuff plus a deadline for work Thursday morning, so...

At least I made the header image for the article that I couldn't get to. May as well as share it.

Hope everyone else has better luck with the rest of this retrograde cycle than I've had. I haven't even looked up when it exits the shadow, so I'll update that later. Right now, I have other issues to tend to, and wanted to at least post this update.

New Moon Scorpio is coming up on us fast on November 19th, 2025 at 10:47 PM PST / November 20th, 2025 at 6:47 AM UTC.

This is part of a Water Grand Trine with Jupiter retrograde and Saturn retrograde/Neptune retrograde, with an opposition to Uranus retrograde now back in Ta**us.

That's a lot of retrograde energy, and also a lot of emotional energy we're going to be dealing with. But also a chance to dispel some illusions and get to the truth of some matters.

Be open to unexpected opportunities, but also be aware of offers too good to be true. Be discerning.

Full Moon Ta**us is soon going to go exact at about 5:19 AM PST / 1:19 PM UTC here on November 5th.

This could be a Full Moon to remember.

Mercury retrograde is also coming, with the retrograde station on November 9th. With Mars opposing Uranus right now, if you thought we were seeing glitches and mechanical issues before, just wait until Thanksgiving travel (in the U.S.) gears up... with questionable air traffic capability.

Are TSA agents and air traffic controllers drawing paychecks right now? I haven't had the time to check with the other goings on with me right now. (including what is almost certainly a blown head gasket in my car).

The New Moon in Libra later today (10/21/2025 5:25 AM PDT / 12:25 PM UTC) is going to open a rather intense lunar cycle.

Mars-Mercury conjunct in Scorpio, near enough to Black Moon Lilith and squaring 1181 Lilith (an asteroid with similar themes to the calculated point), I can see some major jealousy and argumentative issues come up.

The New Moon also squares Jupiter and Pluto, though Jupiter and Pluto don't directly interact this time. So it *could* have been a Grand Cross with a few other degrees (when we also factor in Chiron Rx / Eris Rx), *but* we're not even seeing solid oppositions here. It's all... off-center.

Finally, Mercury's next pre-retrograde shadow comes into effect right before the New Moon goes exact. So we have delays and revisions to look forward to soon as well.

How fitting the AWS outage that took down half of the functionality of the Internet took place the day before this New Moon. If we're seeing this even before Mercury entered pre-retro shadow, imagine how things will look when it actually starts reversing in the sky.

I'm way overdue with this article. Apologies.

Full Moon Aries article may be a little late too. It's been a rough couple of weeks and managed to catch my housemate's and another friend's cold earlier. Mostly over it now.

This is more in-depth.

Slowly getting caught up.

Solar Eclipse Virgo in September 2025 opens a new cycle of major upheavals and shifts. Don't expect things to be stable for a good while.

09/22/2025

Article still in progress, so I'll go over the basics with this Solar Eclipse in Virgo:

It went exact at 29 Virgo, so a critical degree, and it's the second New Moon we've had in Virgo this year. So we've still got the themes of service, obligations, health, and day-to-day routines. It's also part of a Grand Trine with Pluto retrograde in Aquarius and Uranus retrograde in Gemini, so we've got some major upheaval and rebellion/revolutionary themes here, which we might be able to learn from and take advantage of if we're open to what needs to change in our lives.

Solar Eclipse Virgo is also being kited in this Grand Trine with its opposition to Saturn retrograde in Pisces and Neptune retrograde at 0 Aries. We need to take a look at things with a solid view, and not through wishful thinking.

We also had the other factor of Mars at 29 Libra squaring Pluto retrograde, which I see as a violence and upheaval/conflict aspect (and given the events of the last couple of weeks, including the *very* high profile ending of Charlie Kirk's life in Utah).

Mars also apexes a Yod with its quincunx to Saturn Rx/Neptune Rx in their offsign conjunction, and the other quincunx to Uranus Rx.

As Solar Eclipse effects are felt over several months to a year plus after the lunation, we have... a very rough road ahead of us. Now, the Grand Trine does point to a *potential* for some positive changes, *but*... the Dark Side of the Grand Trine is idleness, tendency to inertia, and letting things go without putting in the effort.

Most likely, I suspect we're going to see a great deal more upheaval and reprisals in the next several months. It's not just a U.S.-centric thing either.

I would advise preparation for emergencies/incidents, and allocating resources to that end if you have not already begun doing so.

Nessus in a wide conjunction to the transiting North Node in Pisces is not helping matters either. Be as ready for anything as you possibly can, and know who your friends truly are and who your enemies truly are. (Pisces, being the 12th sign, has 12th house themes which include *hidden enemies*).

Not sorry for not sugar-coating this one. And yes, I have not been able to get to anywhere near what I wanted to get done when I wanted them done (such as the article).

Temper your expectations. And at this point as I write this, welcome to Libra season and Mars entering Scorpio (its other home sign). Expect things to pick up speed.

This Mercury in Virgo opposing Saturn retrograde in Pisces is having a decidedly Mercury retrograde-like feel right now.

On my end I’ve noticed more technological glitches and bugs, and miscommunications. A friend had car trouble, that sort of thing.

We’re also heading into the Solar Eclipse on Sunday (9/21), so expect this to intensify.

Article coming soon, as soon as I can get a chance to write it. Plenty going on with day-job work. I’ve survived a year plus at this one, so take it from me: even if things don’t seem 100% in our lives, there are things still working out for us.

Double check what you can right now, and remember that Mercury will also oppose Neptune retrograde tightly in the next few days. Miscommunication very likely. Advising patience.

09/07/2025

We've entered Eclipse Season with the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces coming into full effect around 11:08 AM PDT / 6:08 PM UTC today (September 7th, 2025).

This comes on the heels of Uranus having entered its retrograde period in Gemini (and it will return to Ta**us in November).

There is a *ton* of our inner shadow energy we're going to have to deal with and confront here. But with a Water Grand Trine between the Lunar Eclipse, Jupiter, and Black Moon Lilith, we just might be able to navigate this a little bit easier if we hold true to a healthy amount of self-respect and personal (healthy) pride in ourselves.

Do watch out for really slick, smooth talkers though. The deception potential is through the roof. And definitely take care to avoid accidents where able. Knowing what to look for should prevent some of the more avoidable incidents.

Eclipse Season for Fall 2025 kicks off with the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on September 7th, 2025. It's a time of decisive endings.

Full Moon Aquarius is upon us as we speak. But soon Mercury retrograde will be over and we'll be firmly in post-retrograde shadow territory.

A mystic rectangle pattern forms between Mars in Libra, Saturn Rx/Neptune Rx in Aries, Pluto Rx in Aquarius, and Mercury Rx in Leo.

Letter's in your mailbox. What's it say? A key to inner wisdom? Or a message from that inner shadow work you've been putting off?

07/24/2025

New Moon Leo is fast upon us, and is the beginning of the final full lunar cycle before we begin Eclipse Season in September.

The outer planets interact with this New Moon in unexpected ways, especially with the opposition to Pluto retrograde.

Also, Mercury is retrograde right now, so whatever new starts we would have with a New Moon isn't going to be so clear.

The lunar cycle for New Moon Leo for July 2025 will be transformative, and not all will go to plan, thanks to Pluto and Mercury retrogrades.
