Asteroids in astrology beyond the big four (Ceres, Pallas, Juno, and Vesta) and the centaur Chiron is a relatively newer study, so there's a lot yet to discover and write upon. That's what I'm here for. Fixed stars are also a more esoteric branch of astrology, but also has its uses in study.

Not sure who got to see the Lunar Eclipse, it was overcast where I was (of course!)...

This Lunar Eclipse pulls the bowstring in a Yod from Neptune Rx and Pluto Rx, and apexing the Sun and Mercury in Virgo. Quite a bit of change in the air and we've got some work to do. We've also got illusions to dispel in our lives and some hard realities we need to face.

Out with the old, in with the new, on so many levels. What do you need to do away with and wipe clean so you can get back on track and get going again? Find the courage and figure that out.

We've got themes going back a couple of years with the Virgo-Pisces eclipse cycles, and I'm certain it's been a couple years of brainstorming, dreams, visions, illusions, and applying some cold logic, hard analysis, and figuring out what's realistic and what's not.

Uranus squaring this Lunar Eclipse also adds to the uncertainty and shakeups going on. You may be blindsided by some forced changes, but endings do bring new beginnings. Be open to possibilities and be ready for anything.

Chiron Rx is also itching to move back into Aries from Ta**us, so I'd say expect some market and financial shakeups to continue.

Solar Eclipse Leo is coming, with totality within several hours of this post.

There isn't much that the Solar Eclipse itself is aspecting in global transits, other than a wide trine to Saturn Rx in Aries. There's some potential to dig inside for some self-discipline and harness that to do some creating and salvage some fun from this hellscape of a summer.

We actually have more opportunities to work towards better things with a "mystic rectangle" connecting Neptune Rx in Aries, Pluto Rx in Aquarius, Venus in Libra (one of its domiciles), and Mercury in Leo. We'll have to trust ourselves and know that we can make some good things happen. But first, inner discipline (Saturn Rx).

Uranus adds to this with an Air Grand Trine between itself in Gemini, Venus in Libra, and Pluto Rx in Aquarius, with a kiting opposition from Mercury in Leo. There's the potential for some good things to happen, but we should be cautious. It's not all roses with the very Plutonian and Aquarian tech-heavy hellscape popping up around us (Flock cameras, AI, the data centers debate, and talk of election interference already being heavily implied if not planned).

But I think some of this is going to get reined in. And if it is, it won't be because people sat back and did nothing. Especially with this Solar Eclipse's aspects.

Don’t know about the rest of you, but this Mercury retrograde that just went direct was a ball breaker.

The amount of malfunctions, hardware failures, etc. … this Mercury retrograde period was NOT normal.

Until about August 6th or 7th (time zone depending), we’ll be in post-retrograde shadow. Expect further disruptions without sufficient effort at changing things for the better.

Hope everyone has been well since the New Moon.

We’ve got a lot of interesting aspects coming up here in July. My immediate focus is on Mercury retrograde that started with the Full Moon on Monday 6/29, and that’s only the start of it.

The day before Mercury retro hit, my laptop did shut off. Seems one of my two usb-c ports no longer take power in from my adapter, which cost me the better part of a day in tech troubleshooting. Great way to start a week off of work. That and the week I decided to use vacation time… it rained the entire week. I suppose I could have timed things better, but then again, I absolutely needed time off of the day job and it’s “use it or lose it” so I’m just resetting however I can. The laptop situation understandably impacted my ability to post any articles.

I’ve accomplished little.

The bigger aspect coming into play here is Uranus Conjunct Mars, just in time for the Fourth of July and the U.S. Sibley chart’s Solar Return. This may not be as catastrophic as some people might think, and there might be some mitigation of the overall chaos that comes with the god of war joining with the lord of rebellion and sudden changes.

Mars/Uranus together in early Gemini is making a trine to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, so use this time to note what isn’t working. Note what needs to be discontinued and discarded. Note what is impeding your essence of your true self. And get rid of it. If you get rid of the wrong thing or person, Mercury retrograde may bring that back to you in some form. So double-check before getting rid of anything right now.

Jupiter has also entered Leo now, and exited its exaltation in Cancer. For the next year or so, a feeling of wanting to expand creativity, fun, and other short term relational stuff (if not raw you-know-what) will be amplified. It will be making an opposition to Pluto over this next month, BUT is also sextile Uranus-Mars right now. So I would not expect major destructive incidents right now. If anything, this might help the U.S. and the global situation slightly, but there will be hiccups and incidents. It just won’t be world war level, I don’t think.

On a personal level, this Uranus-Mars conjunction is right on my Descendant. And squares my own Sun-Saturn in Virgo. So I’ve got some shakeups in partnerships and such right now. So far, the partnership I’ve wanted to preserve is being impacted by distance, but I think will survive this period. Much disruption over the last few months.

I’ll try to get a July forecast up as soon as I can. I should have time, but also need to make sure my equipment will let me complete this.

At least I cleaned out the dust in the process. So there is that.

Sometimes Uranus-Mars trine Pluto Retro can be a sort of, um, summer cleaning.

Time to make some changes.

This New Moon cycle for Gemini here in 2026 is an interesting one in that there's no major aspects to any of the other planets or major points (nodes, etc.) to this particular New Moon. But there's that pesky square to Nessus that points to some deception and behind-the-scenes trickery and manipulation we should be careful about.

Also, Mercury has entered its pre-retrograde shadow, so deals and decisions made now will undoubtedly need revision or will otherwise have issues before the next New Moon in Cancer next month.

Chiron square Jupiter in Cancer and Venus, now in Leo, does indicate some potential of cathartic healing, but not without some level of pain or trial. However, some good art and literature has come from personal struggles, so don't look at this in too fatalistic a way.

New Moon Aries comes at us at a time where SEVERAL planets and/or bodies are in the fiery, cardinal sign of Aries. Mars, Mercury, Neptune, Saturn, all together and shaking things up, partially sextile both Pluto/Juno (shaking up partnerships and alliances), and Uranus (about to transition into Gemini later in the month).

AND... the New Moon is on top of Chiron and Eris. So potential for harm or hurt is greatly amplified, right now, AND a heightened potential for chaos in an already increasingly chaotic world.

In our personal lives, we're going to be feeling the itch to make some major moves. Make sure you have a solid plan, ESPECIALLY now. But events may not wait for that solid plan and some of us may have to move quickly to maintain footing, whether it be in employment, family, legal matters, or other pressing concerns.

Briefly going to give a glimpse into the week ahead. The alignments this week are too important to not give a mention somewhere, so here we go:

All week, we'll have Sun, Eris, and Chiron joining up in late Aries. So the chaos and confronting what we need to heal ourselves is going to be amplified for the entire week, AND there's a New Moon in Aries WITH Eris/Chiron on top of that on Friday. That's the major impact point.

Mars has entered its home sign of Aries, and on Monday we've got that conjunct Neptune. Make no illusions about what you want or how life's going right now, because Mars is boiling the ocean in a matter of speaking. Many things going to be laid bare. Maintain calm, and do not act impulsively based on the idea of how things should be. Idealism is past now that Neptune is in Aries.

Mercury has also exited its post-retrograde shadow and is now in full speed ahead mode. Around Wednesday or so, Mercury will also enter Aries. And the Moon enters Aries around that same time, so the middle of the week is going to be INTENSE.

As of Wednesday, including both luminaries (Sun and Moon), we will have several planets and bodies inside Aries. That is a LOT of fiery Aries energy! Mercury, Neptune, Mars, Saturn, a brief several hour overlay of the Moon all together in a stellium, or in this case a 5-body conjunction in the first decan of Aries. Impulsive and sudden acts are NOT advised and you are very much recommended to plan and think things through carefully. And act decisively if you need to. Fortunately, a sextile from Pluto and Juno in Aquarius and also from Uranus in the final degree of Ta**us...

That's a tough one. Some alliances and groupings will certainly collapse, and other alliances forged and renewed with new understandings, both in our personal lives and on national/regional/global levels. However, Sun-Chiron-Eris strengthen their conjunction as well on Wednesday, so anything could happen.

Also consider throughout this week that Sun-Eris-Chiron will be opposing Dejanira, the victim's asteroid. And it is retrograde.

This is going to be a bit rough. I think new information regarding certain rings of activity will come further to light.

This does T-square a certain political figure's Saturn in Cancer, so I'd expect some degree of news happening there.

And Dejanira will hold that opposition all the way to the New Moon on Friday, just in time for the end of the week news cycle, and will also have an impact for the following four weeks or so during the entire next lunar cycle.

Going into the weekend, and all the way onto Sunday, Mercury-Mars-Saturn will tighten into a conjunction, which will solidify next Monday on the 20th. Expect major developments and don't start any fights. Seriously.

Venus will also by the end of Sunday be joining the fixed star Algol, so keep a solid head on your shoulder pertaining to money, resources, and relationships if at all possible. Strongly considering that there will be further supply shocks and do not expect prices to come down anytime soon with this combination of factors. Luckily, Venus is NOT in range of Algol during the New Moon, so the strongest Venus-Algol impact will be further into the following week.
