Fire aftermath at Sonic in Mountain Grove from around 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4:][

The Mountain Grove Fire Department responded to a fire call at Sonic in Mountain Grove at approximately 1:10 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4.

The fire was located on the south wall next to the drive thru.

Mountain Grove Fire Chief Clinton Gibbens said it was a smoldering fire, so there were no active flames when firefighters arrived on scene.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
